The Garden Slug

The Garden Slug is one of the smaller of the Round Backed Slugs, but it is certainly one of the most destructive. It is a dark brownish grey or black, smoother than the Large Black Slug, and with a yellow or orange sole. Seedlings, lettuces, strawberries, and many other low-growing crops are attacked by this species, and it often feeds on potato tubers.
